The Perryville School District, utilizing FEMA grant funding, selected Ideal Construction as the Construction Manager for a new 4,400-square-foot Safe Room at Perryville Elementary School.

Ideal worked closely with the School District and Architect to ensure minimal disruption to daily school operations. Despite challenges such as inflation and long lead times, the project was completed on time and within budget thanks to Ideal’s proactive planning and strategic management.

Given the Safe Room’s central location on campus, Ideal prioritized safety, maintaining a secure environment throughout the build to protect students and faculty nearby. The result is a critical facility that enhances safety and resilience for the entire school community.
